Castlemead - countryside by the sea

Our restaurant has glorious views across the garden, Norman church and Manorbier beach to Barafundle Bay in the distance. It opens onto the lawn where weather permitting we serve meals outside. Our cosy atmospheric bar is well stocked and has a regularly updated wine list to suit all tastes, the ideal place to start the evening's experience. Midsummer we serve drinks and coffee on the lawn and later in the year by a roaring fire in guests lounge.

Our ever changing menus always include local steaks and fish specialties and change daily dependant on the catch , with exciting vegetarian options and local favourites along with a wide range of mouth watering starters. We serve early diners from 6pm until 9pm in the summer months until 8.30 pm off season.

Picture yourself relaxing on the lawn with a bowl of fresh mussels followed by a rack of Welsh Lamb and pudding from a range of mouth watering desserts.

Open nightly to residents and non-residents Monday-Saturday, on Sundays at lunch time we offer a traditional Sunday lunch with alternative lighter bites from 12pm. On Sunday evening the restaurant is closed.

We are holders of the Pembrokesire Produce mark and the taste of Wales all our produce wherever possible is locally sourced.

Children are welcome in the restaurant we offer a healthy, hearty eating range of options reasonably priced from 6pm.

Booking is advised particularly on the weekends.
